December 2024 -- College Sports: Unionization & Compensation Issues


Join NJ LERA for its annual event co-sponsored with the Rutgers University Student Chapter of LERA, hosted at the historic Labor Education Center, for a program on cutting-edge issues related to college sports.  Topics will include Union-organizing efforts, whether college athletes are “employees” under wage and hour and other laws, and NIL compensation.  Enjoy dinner, learn from experts, meet the new Dean of the School of Management & Labor Relations (“SMLR”), and engage with peers.
